While many of us caught a glimpse of spring weather this week, and as the school year is beginning to wind down, we know the job search is in full swing for many. In a three-part video blog series, we thought we’d revisit what a few of our team members thought that makes for an effective career in communications. EVP Christine Simeone recently shared these in a presentation at the University of Michigan as part of The Annual 2014 Department of Communication Studies Alumni Connection. Each year, the Department of Communications brings back alumni working in various communication-related and media fields to discuss their careers, how they got to where they are today and what they would recommend current students do to prepare themselves to be marketable once they graduate.
Founder and President, Lois Paul opens our three part video series by sharing her encouragement for those who are interested in exploring a career in Public Relations. Let us know what you think. And, if there’s anything you think we should add, please leave a comment.
